Nestled in the enchanting heart of Salamanca, Hotel Mercado by Gaiarooms offers a mesmerizing blend of historic charm and modern convenience. During my recent stay with a few fellow photographers, we adored the hotel's excellent central location, just a leisurely stroll from the captivating Plaza Mayor, which allowed us to capture some stunning early morning shots of the city's architecture. Our room was not just comfortable but boasted a lovely terrace that provided breathtaking views of the iconic domes, which we found absolutely inspiring. The warm hospitality and dedication of the staff definitely added to our delightful experience, making it a place we'll return to for more creative adventures in this beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city.
